How can the K-pop fandom have such a toxic mentality?

As an ex-K-pop fan, here’s my experience. After becoming a K-pop fan in late 2017, the fandom is so toxic, especially Army’s and Blinks in my opinion. Some of them think that they are so entitled to everything when it comes to their bias and claim that they own them. K-pop idols are humans! Not only the BTS and Blackpink fandom are toxic, but other groups as well. I had enough with this experience and decided to leave to join booktok (reading/book community on TikTok) around early summer of 2024. Now I don’t listen to K-pop very often since I’m a full-time reader (I read soft fluffy and smutty dark romance novels btw)
